Saturday, the 17th of June marked the delivery of the fifth Boeing 737-800w aircraft for Eurocypria Airlines. The first commercial flight operated by the brand new aircraft was to Basle in Switzerland, carrying a total of 150 passengers.
The new Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 with winglets, leased from (CIT), is configured to offer 189 leather seats and inflight entertainement system, in line with the rest of Eurocypria’s fleet.
The aircraft will be operating out of Eurocypria’s base in Heraklion, operating flights from Crete and Rhodes to other European countries, such as UK, Ireland, France, Poland, Switzerland and Sweden.
During Summer, Eurocypria Airlines operates chartered and scheduled flights from over 55 European airports in 15 countries.
